Otta School in 2017 with some of the oldest blocks with wooden houses in the background.
In a historical review the authors write:
“At Otta there was no school house before 1922. Then Sel local authority took over the parcel occupied by Solvang, the community hall. Otta School was built where it stands today, and the youth club got a new parcel near by.”
In the School Street opposite Otta School the owners of this house had one of Otta’s many cafes.
